Fabian will talk about how computers are fast, and are getting faster every year. But sometimes, even this is not fast enough for us. Fortunately, computers are not just fast, but are also very good at doing many different tasks simultaneously. In this talk, we are going to explore the wondrous and perilous world of concurrency in Python and how to take full advantage of our very capable hardware. We will learn about processes, threads and other means to achieve concurrency and their potential pitfalls.
