When and where can I register for workshops?

You can register for all workshops using our official congress app as soon as it's available.

When and where does the World Congress 2024 take place?

The WeAreDevelopers World Congress will take place on July 17-19, 2024 at the CityCube in Berlin, Germany.

For attendees, pre-check-in, workshops, and networking opportunities will be available on July 17th.

What speakers are going to be at the event?

Will there be a Pre-Check-In for the event so I can skip the waiting lines before the opening?

Yes, we recommend doing your pre-check-in already on Wednesday, July 17th:‍

Is there a Congress App?

Yes! The Congress App contains not only the full congress program but will assist you with the schedule of the sessions you don’t want to miss, helps you finding exhibitors, gives options to chat and raise questions, and provides other useful information.

We will inform you as soon as it's available.

Will the talks be recorded for later watching on-demand?

Yes, all the talks will be recorded and will be available for watching afterwards on the WeAreDevelopers platform for participants of the event.

I would like to apply as a speaker for the World Congress 2024. Where can I do it?

Our call for speakers is already closed. Thanks for all the great submissions!

How can I be sure this is the right event for me to attend?

If you have any connection to software development or the tech industry – this is the right event for you. We make sure everybody from the dev world is welcome: from software developers and testers to team leads and project managers.

Is this event GDPR compliant?

Absolutely, we take your data privacy very seriously and we will not share it with any third-party organizations without your consent ever.

What do I do in case I lose my wristband?

In case you lose your wristband, please come to our information desk and our staff will assist you. Don’t forget to bring your ID with you.

Where can I buy my ticket?

You can get your tickets here. Make sure to get your ticket as soon as possible, ticket prices will increase from time to time!

What do I get when buying the Premium Congress Pass?

Our Premium Congress Pass will include a variety of perks, including access to special areas and lounges, as well as side events, premium goodies and much more! Stay tuned!

What is the difference between a regular Congress Pass and a Student pass?

Both passes include full access to the event: all stages, all sessions, workshops, expo, afterparty, session recordings & congress app. The difference is that the Student pass enables the students within our community to access the event and gain knowledge for a discounted price.

Who can purchase a Student pass?

Student passes can be bought by everyone with a valid student ID or similar certification from a university, school or similar institution. You will be asked for your student ID or respective proof at the registration in case you check-in with a student ticket.

Are there daily tickets?

There are no daily tickets for the World Congress 2024 at the moment.

Are there discounts for group tickets?

Yes, there is a discount for group orders of 3+ tickets.

How do I get my ticket and my invoice?

We automatically send you the ticket and the invoice via email after the purchase.

I have bought a ticket but I changed my mind. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, no. WeAreDevelopers has a strict no-refund policy, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else. See “Can I sell or give my tickets to someone else”.

Can I sell or give my tickets to someone else?

In case you are not able to attend the WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2024 you can always sell or give your ticket to someone else. Just do not forget to update the ticket information from your customer page that you received within your ticket confirmation email, or simply contact us via tickets@wearedevelopers.com and we’ll help you with the process.

Where can I find a taxi around the congress?

There will be taxis available at the south entrance area at "Tor Süd 3".

Do you recommend any specific hotels to stay at?

Are taxis available at the location?

There will be a taxi service at the CityCube.

Also you can use ride hailing services like Uber or Bolt in Berlin.

Is the event accessible for people with physical disabilities?

Yes, we make sure that all participants can enjoy the event to the fullest regardless of their physical conditions.

Am I allowed to take pictures or videos at the event?

Yes, you are allowed to take pictures or videos but only for private use. If you want to use footage of the event for commercial purposes you need the consent of WeAreDevelopers. In this case, please contact us via help@wearedevelopers.com.

Is there a cloakroom?

Of course, we will have a cloakroom for your belongings to keep them safe (chargeable).

Does the venue offer free Wifi?

Yes, there will be free Wifi for everybody at the location.

Will there be any catering (food and drink) on-site?

We will be offering lots of food and drinks choices for everyone during the event including vegetarian and vegan options (and we’ll make sure to have enough options for you so that your waiting time is as short as possible :-)

Are pets allowed at the event?

No, pets are not allowed inside the CityCube Berlin.

Is there going to be a Lost & Found point?

Yes, we will have a Lost & Found. Please ask our staff at the registration desk.

What is the best arrival route by train?

Direct train from Main Station to the Messe Süd/Messe South.

What is the best arrival route from the BER - Berlin Brandenburg Airport?

We suggest taking a taxi which takes approximately 30 minutes or coming by public transport which takes about an hour. Please refer to the public transportation map for finding the best route and do not forget to buy the public transport ticket. Here is the airport's website for more info.

What is the best arrival route from the former Schönefeld (currently terminal 5)

From the Terminal 5, a taxi ride should take approximately 35 minutes. Coming with public transportation should take you around an hour as well. Please refer to the public transportation map for finding the best route and do not forget to buy the public transport ticket. Here is the airport's website for more info.
