Have you ever thought about having your own language? You implement the same feature for the tenth time, each with few variations, and you can't extract the feature code in a library. You dream how awesome it would be to get full feature functionality by describing it just in a few words. This is exactly what many domain-specific languages such as HTML or SQL offer, and in this talk I will show how to create your own language using the language engineering framework Langium. With Langium, designing and implementing of your own language, including compiler and editor support, has never been easier: describe your language's grammar and Langium takes care of the rest. The framework is built on years of experience that the TypeFox team has gained about designing languages. Now we are keen on lifting these proven concepts.
