In this session I will share my own path in the tech industry, in the past 20+ years. I started in mostly technical positions like developer and data scientist, and had an insight of what it's like to be a woman in these positions. One of the things that impacted me the most was the lack of role models, so I decided to become one. This entailed becoming more visible, through participating in events and producing content and at a certain point, I also started taking roles that exposed me to the rest of the developer community. I hope this journey can inspire other women to do the same, as on a macro level I don’t see as many changes as I would like in the tech industry, but at the micro level I could see how I could produce some impact.
